About Bimbisara (film)

Bimbisara is an upcoming Fantasy, Drama film written and directed by Mallidi Vashist starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Catherine Tresa and Samyuktha Menon. The first look of the film was revealed on 28 May 2021, on his grandfather NTR's 98th birth anniversary. The Film is produced by Hari Krishna K under the N. T. R. Arts banner. Kalyan Ram is playing the Barbaric ruler of Magadha, based on the Haryanka dynasty in 5th century. With grand sets and heavy use of VFX the films expected budget is 40cr and upwards, that makes it one of the biggest budget film in Kalyan Ram's Career.The first teaser came out on 29 November 2021, which created a buzz among audience and set major expectations among audience. With the teaser, Kalyan Ram wrote “A Time Travel From Evil To Good #BimbisaraTeaser out now!” in a tweet.Initially set for November 2021 release, Bimbisara - I is now expected to release in October 2022, a Diwali release.
