About Aaron Paul
Aaron Paul: Breaking Bad's Bad Boy
Aaron Paul was born on August 27, 1979, in Emmett, Idaho. He grew up in a Baptist household and was homeschooled by his mother until the eighth grade. Paul's parents divorced when he was young, and he moved with his father to California. It was there that he discovered his love for acting.
Paul began his career in the entertainment industry as a model, but he quickly transitioned to acting. He landed his first role in the television series "Beverly Hills, 90210" in 1999. However, it was his portrayal of Jesse Pinkman in the hit television series "Breaking Bad" that made him a household name.
"Breaking Bad" premiered in 2008 and quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Paul's portrayal of Pinkman, a drug dealer and addict, earned him critical acclaim and three Primetime Emmy Awards. The show ran for five seasons and ended in 2013.
Since "Breaking Bad," Paul has continued to work in film and television. He starred in the film "Need for Speed" in 2014 and the Hulu series "The Path" from 2016 to 2018. He also reprised his role as Jesse Pinkman in the 2019 film "El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie."
Paul has been married to Lauren Parsekian since 2013, and the couple has one daughter together. He is also an advocate for various charities, including the Kind Campaign, which aims to end girl-on-girl bullying.
Despite his success, Paul remains humble and grateful for his career. "I never thought I would be able to make a living doing what I love," he said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "I feel incredibly lucky."
