Angelo Caloiaro is a rising star in the world of basketball. Born on July 28, 1989, in San Jose, California, Caloiaro began playing basketball at a young age and quickly developed a passion for the sport. He attended Archbishop Mitty High School, where he was a standout player and helped lead his team to a state championship in 2006.
After high school, Caloiaro attended the University of San Francisco, where he continued to excel on the court. He was a four-year starter for the Dons and was named to the All-West Coast Conference team in his senior year. Caloiaro finished his college career with 1,375 points, 789 rebounds, and 267 assists.
In 2012, Caloiaro signed with the German team Ratiopharm Ulm, where he played for two seasons. He then played for several other European teams, including Sidigas Avellino in Italy and Maccabi Ashdod in Israel.
In 2018, Caloiaro returned to the United States and signed with the Santa Cruz Warriors, the G League affiliate of the Golden State Warriors. He had a standout season with the team, averaging 14.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
Caloiaro's success with the Santa Cruz Warriors caught the attention of the Golden State Warriors, who signed him to a two-way contract in 2019. He made his NBA debut on December 23, 2019, in a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
