DeBose made her Broadway debut in 2012 as a member of the ensemble in "Bring It On: The Musical." She then went on to star in "Motown: The Musical," "Pippin," and "Hamilton," where she originated the roles of the Bullet and Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds. Her performance in "Hamilton" earned her a Tony nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

But DeBose's talents don't stop at singing and dancing. She's also made a name for herself on the big and small screens. She appeared in the TV series "Blue Bloods" and "The Breaks," as well as the films "Almost Family" and "West Side Story," directed by Steven Spielberg and set to be released in 2021.
