About Barry Williams

Barry Williams, born on September 30, 1954, in Santa Monica, California, is an American actor who rose to fame in the 1970s for his role as Greg Brady in the hit television series, The Brady Bunch. Williams began his acting career at the age of 11, appearing in various commercials and television shows before landing his breakthrough role in The Brady Bunch in 1969.

The Brady Bunch became a cultural phenomenon, and Williams quickly became a teen heartthrob. He starred in the show for five seasons, from 1969 to 1974, and went on to appear in various Brady Bunch spin-offs and reunion specials.

After The Brady Bunch, Williams continued to work in television, appearing in shows such as The Love Boat, Murder, She Wrote, and 3rd Rock from the Sun. He also appeared in several films, including the horror movie, The Brady Bunch Movie, in which he played a fictionalized version of himself.

In addition to his acting career, Williams is also a musician. He released his first album, The Return of Johnny Bravo, in 1999, and has since released several more albums.

Williams has been married three times and has two children. He has also been open about his struggles with addiction and has written a memoir, Growing Up Brady: I Was a Teenage Greg, about his experiences on The Brady Bunch and his personal life.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Williams remains a beloved figure in pop culture, and his portrayal of Greg Brady continues to resonate with audiences today.
