Bryn Renner: The Quarterback with a Heart of Gold
Bryn Renner was born on December 31, 1989, in West Springfield, Virginia. From a young age, he showed a natural talent for football, and he quickly became a star player at West Springfield High School. Renner's success on the field earned him a scholarship to the University of North Carolina, where he played quarterback for the Tar Heels.
During his time at UNC, Renner set numerous records and earned numerous accolades, including being named the ACC Rookie of the Year in 2010. He also became known for his philanthropic work, including his involvement with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and his work with the UNC Children's Hospital.
After graduating from UNC in 2013, Renner signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent. He spent time on the practice squad before being signed by the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. Renner also spent time with the Tennessee Titans and the San Diego Chargers before signing with the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2017.
Throughout his career, Renner has remained committed to giving back to his community. He has hosted numerous football camps for young players and has continued his work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Renner has also been open about his struggles with anxiety and depression, and he has used his platform to raise awareness about mental health issues.
