About Carmella
Carmella: The Princess of Staten Island
Carmella, born Leah Van Dale on October 23, 1987, is a multi-talented American professional wrestler, dancer, and model. She is best known for her time in WWE, where she has become one of the most popular and successful female wrestlers in recent years.
Growing up in Staten Island, New York, Carmella was always a performer. She began dancing at a young age and eventually became a cheerleader for the New England Patriots. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a degree in marketing, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment.
Carmella's big break came in 2013 when she was cast on the reality show Total Divas. She quickly caught the attention of WWE executives and was signed to a developmental contract. She spent several years training at the WWE Performance Center before making her main roster debut in 2016.
Since then, Carmella has become one of the most entertaining and charismatic wrestlers in WWE. Her signature catchphrase, "Mella is Money," has become a fan favorite, and her in-ring skills have earned her multiple championships, including the SmackDown Women's Championship.
But Carmella's talents extend beyond the wrestling ring. She has also appeared on the reality shows Total Bellas and Miz & Mrs, and has modeled for various brands, including Reebok and Puma.
Off-screen, Carmella is known for her love of fashion and her glamorous lifestyle. She often shares photos of her outfits and travels on social media, where she has a large following.
Despite her success, Carmella remains humble and grateful for her fans. "I never take for granted the opportunity that I have," she told Rolling Stone in a 2018 interview. "I'm just grateful to be living my dream."
