Norris began his martial arts training in Korea while serving in the Air Force. He later studied under Bruce Lee and became a six-time world karate champion. He also founded his own martial arts school and wrote several books on the subject.

In the 1970s, Norris transitioned to acting and quickly became a household name. He starred in a string of successful action films, including "The Delta Force," "Missing in Action," and "Walker, Texas Ranger." He also appeared in numerous TV shows and commercials.
