About Connie Britton
Connie Britton: The Nashville Star Who Took Hollywood by Storm
Connie Britton was born on March 6, 1967, in Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up in Virginia and attended Dartmouth College, where she majored in Asian studies. After graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.
Britton's breakthrough role came in 2006 when she was cast as Tami Taylor in the critically acclaimed television series Friday Night Lights. Her portrayal of the high school principal and wife of the football coach earned her an Emmy nomination and a legion of fans.
Britton's success on Friday Night Lights led to more high-profile roles, including a starring role in the first season of American Horror Story and a lead role in the hit drama Nashville. She has also appeared in films such as The Brothers McMullen and This Is Where I Leave You.
Britton is known for her natural beauty and her down-to-earth personality. She is an advocate for women's health issues and has worked with organizations such as Planned Parenthood and the African Medical and Research Foundation.
In addition to her acting career, Britton is also a singer and has released two albums, including the 2014 album, "The Nashville Soundtrack." She has also performed on stage in productions of The Early Girl and The Exonerated.
Despite her success, Britton remains humble and grounded. She credits her success to hard work and perseverance, and she continues to be a role model for aspiring actors and women everywhere.
