About Dany Saval
Dany Saval: The French Actress Who Conquered Hollywood
Dany Saval was born on January 5, 1942, in Paris, France. She began her career as a model before transitioning to acting in the late 1950s. Saval quickly became a rising star in French cinema, starring in films such as "The Three Musketeers" and "The Seven Deadly Sins."
In 1961, Saval caught the attention of Hollywood producers and was offered a contract with MGM. She made her American film debut in "The Happy Thieves" alongside Rex Harrison and Rita Hayworth. Saval's charm and talent quickly won over audiences, and she went on to star in several more Hollywood films, including "Boeing Boeing" and "That Funny Feeling."
Saval's success in Hollywood was not limited to the big screen. She also appeared on popular television shows such as "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." and "The Love Boat." In addition to her acting career, Saval was also a successful singer, releasing several albums in the 1960s.
Despite her success in Hollywood, Saval never forgot her roots. She continued to work in French cinema throughout her career, starring in films such as "The Gendarme Takes Off" and "The Gendarme and the Creatures from Outer Space."
Saval's personal life was just as eventful as her career. She was married to French actor Maurice Ronet from 1961 to 1963 and later married American actor and producer Michel Piccoli in 1966. The couple had two children together before divorcing in 1977.
Today, Saval is remembered as a talented actress who conquered Hollywood and left her mark on French cinema. Her legacy continues to inspire new generations of actors and filmmakers.
