Deng Adel was born on February 1, 1996, in South Sudan. He grew up in Melbourne, Australia, where he discovered his love for basketball. Adel's journey to becoming a professional basketball player was not an easy one, but his talent and hard work paid off in the end.
Adel's basketball career began at Victory College, where he played for the school team. He then joined the Melbourne Tigers, a local basketball club, where he honed his skills and caught the attention of scouts. In 2014, Adel was selected to play for the Australian U17 team, and he quickly became one of the team's top players.
In 2015, Adel moved to the United States to attend Victory Rock Prep School in Florida.
