Donald Trump Jr.: The Heir Apparent

Donald Trump Jr. was born on December 31, 1977, in Manhattan, New York City, to real estate mogul and future U.S. President Donald Trump and his first wife, Ivana Trump. Growing up in the lap of luxury, Trump Jr. was groomed to take over his father's business empire from a young age.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 2000, Trump Jr. joined the Trump Organization, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become Executive Vice President. He played a key role in the development of many of the company's most high-profile projects, including the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago and the Trump International Golf Links in Scotland.

In addition to his work with the Trump Organization, Trump Jr. has also been involved in a number of other business ventures, including founding the investment firm Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts in 2005 and serving as a board member of the Eric Trump Foundation, which raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

But Trump Jr.'s life hasn't been without controversy. In 2016, he found himself at the center of a political firestorm when it was revealed that he had met with a Russian lawyer during the 2016 presidential campaign in an attempt to obtain damaging information about Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. While Trump Jr. maintained that the meeting was ultimately fruitless, the incident raised questions about the Trump campaign's ties to Russia and sparked a federal investigation.

Despite the controversy, Trump Jr. remains a key figure in his father's business and political circles. He has been a vocal supporter of his father's policies and has even been rumored to be considering a run for political office himself.
