About Elliot Mazer
Elliot Mazer is a legendary American audio engineer and record producer who has worked with some of the biggest names in music. Born on September 6, 1941, in New York City, Mazer began his career in the music industry in the 1960s.
Mazer is best known for his work with Neil Young, with whom he collaborated on several albums, including "Harvest" and "Time Fades Away." He also worked with artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Janis Joplin, The Band, and Bob Dylan.
Mazer's innovative approach to recording and production helped to shape the sound of rock music in the 1970s. He was one of the first engineers to use digital recording technology, and he pioneered the use of live recordings in the studio.
In addition to his work as an engineer and producer, Mazer is also a musician and songwriter. He has released several albums of his own, including "Elliot Mazer's San Francisco Sound" and "The Lost Sessions."
