Emma Samms was born on August 28, 1960, in London, England. She grew up in a family of actors and was destined to follow in their footsteps. Her father, Michael, was a well-known actor, and her mother, Madeleine, was a ballet dancer. Emma started acting at a young age and made her television debut in the British soap opera "General Hospital" in 1982.
Her breakthrough role came in 1985 when she was cast as Fallon Carrington Colby in the hit American soap opera "Dynasty." Emma quickly became a fan favorite and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. She left the show in 1987 to pursue other projects but returned for the series finale in 1989.
Emma's success on "Dynasty" opened doors for her in Hollywood, and she went on to star in several movies and TV shows, including "The Colbys," "Models Inc.," and "Holby City." She also appeared in the James Bond film "The Living Daylights" in 1987.
In addition to her acting career, Emma is a philanthropist and has been involved in several charitable organizations, including the Starlight Children's Foundation and the National Osteoporosis Society.
