He played for Juventus F.C., Chelsea F.C., U.S. Cremonese, U.C. Sampdoria, Italy national under-21 football team and Italy national association football team. He has participated in 1990 FIFA World Cup, 1986 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 1988.
