About J. P. Manoux

J.P. Manoux may not be a household name, but he's been a fixture in Hollywood for over two decades. Born in Fresno, California in 1969, Manoux got his start in the entertainment industry as a writer and performer for the sketch comedy group The Groundlings. From there, he transitioned to acting, landing roles in TV shows like "ER," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "The West Wing."

But it was his role as Curtis the Caveman in the Disney Channel series "Phil of the Future" that really put Manoux on the map. The show, which aired from 2004 to 2006, was a hit with kids and teens, and Manoux's over-the-top performance as the bumbling caveman was a fan favorite.

Since then, Manoux has continued to work steadily in TV and film, appearing in everything from "Community" to "Veep" to "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." He's also lent his voice to a number of animated projects, including "Ratatouille" and "The Emperor's New School."

Off-screen, Manoux is known for his philanthropic work, particularly with the charity organization Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He's also an avid traveler and photographer, and has documented his adventures on his Instagram account.

Despite his success, Manoux remains humble and grateful for the opportunities he's had in Hollywood. "I feel very lucky to be able to do what I love for a living," he told Rolling Stone in a recent interview. "And I hope to keep doing it for as long as I can."
