About Jenny Arean

Jenny Arean is a Dutch actress, singer, and cabaret performer who has been entertaining audiences for over five decades. Born on October 4, 1942, in Lisse, Netherlands, Arean began her career in the 1960s as a cabaret performer, singing and acting in small theaters across the country.

Her breakthrough came in 1967 when she starred in the musical "Heerlijk Duurt Het Langst" (It Takes Forever) by Annie M.G. Schmidt and Harry Bannink. The show was a huge success and launched Arean's career as a musical theater actress.

Over the years, Arean has appeared in numerous stage productions, including "Fien" (1971), "De Jantjes" (1979), and "Piaf" (1999). She has also acted in several films and television series, including "De Kleine Waarheid" (1970) and "Kees & Co" (1997-2006).

Arean is also a talented singer and has released several albums throughout her career. Her music is a mix of cabaret, chanson, and jazz, and she has collaborated with some of the Netherlands' most prominent musicians, including Louis van Dijk and Frans Ehlhart.
