About Jess Margera
Jess Margera: The Wild and Unpredictable Drummer of CKY
As the drummer for the band CKY, Jess Margera has been known to bring a wild and unpredictable energy to the stage. Born on August 28, 1978, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Margera grew up with a passion for music and a love for skateboarding. He and his brother, Bam Margera, would often film themselves skateboarding and creating their own videos, which would eventually lead to the creation of the hit MTV show Jackass.
Margera's drumming style is heavily influenced by punk rock and heavy metal, and he has cited drummers such as Dave Lombardo of Slayer and Bill Stevenson of Descendents as major inspirations. He joined CKY in 1998, and has been a member ever since, contributing to the band's unique blend of punk, metal, and alternative rock.
In addition to his work with CKY, Margera has also collaborated with other musicians, including the band Viking Skull and his brother Bam's band, Fuckface Unstoppable. He has also released solo music under the name "The Company Band."
Offstage, Margera has been known for his wild antics and partying lifestyle, which has led to some controversy over the years. However, he has also been open about his struggles with addiction and has sought help to overcome them.
Despite the ups and downs of his personal life, Margera's drumming talent and energy on stage have earned him a dedicated fan base and a place in the pantheon of influential drummers. As he continues to rock out with CKY and pursue his own musical projects, there's no telling what wild and unpredictable adventures he'll have next.
