About Joe Hague

Joe Hague was a baseball player who made a name for himself in the 1960s and 1970s. Born on April 25, 1944, in San Francisco, California, Hague grew up playing baseball and eventually made it to the major leagues.

Hague began his professional career with the Kansas City Athletics in 1968. He played for the Athletics for two seasons before being traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1970. Hague played for the Pirates for three seasons, helping the team win the National League East division in 1971.

In 1973, Hague was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals, where he played for two seasons. He finished his career with the Cincinnati Reds in 1977.

Throughout his career, Hague was known for his solid hitting and fielding abilities. He had a career batting average of .259 and hit 54 home runs. Hague was also a versatile player, playing both first base and outfield positions.

Off the field, Hague was known for his outgoing personality and love of music. He was often seen playing guitar and singing with his teammates.

Hague passed away on May 16, 1994, at the age of 50. He is remembered as a talented baseball player and a beloved teammate.
