About Josh Rosen
Josh Rosen: The Maverick Quarterback Taking the NFL by Storm
Josh Rosen was born on February 10, 1997, in Manhattan Beach, California. From a young age, he showed a natural talent for football, and by the time he was in high school, he was already being touted as one of the best quarterbacks in the country.
Rosen attended St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California, where he led the football team to a state championship in his junior year. He was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2014, and was ranked as the number one quarterback prospect in the country by ESPN.
After graduating from high school, Rosen went on to play for the UCLA Bruins. In his freshman year, he threw for over 3,600 yards and 23 touchdowns, setting a school record for passing yards by a freshman. He continued to impress in his sophomore year, throwing for over 3,700 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Despite his success on the field, Rosen was known for his outspoken personality and his willingness to speak his mind on a variety of topics. He was critical of the NCAA's amateurism rules, and was vocal in his support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
In 2018, Rosen was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals as the 10th overall pick. He played for the Cardinals for one season before being traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2019. In his first season with the Dolphins, Rosen struggled to find his footing, and was eventually replaced as the starting quarterback.
Despite his setbacks, Rosen remains a promising young talent in the NFL. He has shown flashes of brilliance on the field, and his unapologetic personality has made him a fan favorite. As he continues to develop as a player, it's clear that Josh Rosen is a quarterback to watch in the years to come.
