About Keeley Hawes
Keeley Hawes: The British Actress Who Conquered TV
Keeley Hawes was born on February 10, 1976, in Marylebone, London. She started her acting career in the early 90s, but it wasn't until the early 2000s that she became a household name in the UK. Since then, she has become one of the most sought-after actresses in British television, known for her versatility and range.
Hawes first gained attention for her role as Zoe Reynolds in the spy drama "Spooks" (known as "MI-5" in the US), which she played from 2002 to 2004. She then went on to star in a number of successful TV shows, including "Ashes to Ashes," "The Durrells," and "Bodyguard," which became a global phenomenon in 2018.
But Hawes is not just a TV actress. She has also appeared in a number of films, including "The Bank Job" and "High-Rise," and has lent her voice to several video games, including "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend" and "The Last of Us Part II."
Off-screen, Hawes is known for her philanthropic work. She is an ambassador for the children's charity Barnardo's and has supported a number of other charities over the years.
Despite her success, Hawes remains grounded and dedicated to her craft. In an interview with The Guardian, she said, "I'm not interested in being famous. I'm interested in doing good work and being part of good projects."
With her talent, beauty, and down-to-earth attitude, Keeley Hawes is a true icon of British television.
