About Keith Szarabajka
Keith Szarabajka: The Character Actor Who Steals the Show
Keith Szarabajka was born on December 2, 1952, in Oak Park, Illinois. He grew up in a Polish-American family and attended the University of Chicago, where he studied literature and theater. After graduation, he moved to New York City to pursue an acting career.
Szarabajka's first big break came in 1980 when he was cast in the Broadway production of "The Night of the Iguana" alongside Richard Chamberlain and Dorothy McGuire. He went on to appear in several other Broadway productions, including "The Curse of the Aching Heart" and "The Kentucky Cycle."
In the 1980s, Szarabajka began to make a name for himself in film and television. He appeared in a number of popular TV shows, including "Hill Street Blues," "The Equalizer," and "The X-Files." He also had memorable roles in films such as "Missing," "The Dark Knight," and "A Perfect World."
Despite his success, Szarabajka is perhaps best known for his work as a voice actor. He has lent his voice to a number of video games, including "Bioshock Infinite," "The Last of Us," and "Call of Duty: Black Ops." He has also provided voiceovers for commercials and documentaries.
Szarabajka's versatility as an actor is due in part to his ability to play a wide range of characters. He has portrayed everything from a ruthless gangster to a compassionate doctor. His performances are always nuanced and layered, and he has a knack for stealing scenes from his co-stars.
Off-screen, Szarabajka is known for his activism. He has been involved in a number of social and political causes, including the fight against climate change and the promotion of LGBTQ rights.
In a career spanning over four decades, Keith Szarabajka has established himself as one of the most talented and versatile actors of his generation. Whether on stage, screen, or in the recording booth, he brings a depth and authenticity to his performances that is truly remarkable.
