About Kyler Fackrell
Kyler Fackrell: The Rise of a Football Star
Kyler Fackrell was born on November 25, 1991, in Mesa, Arizona. From a young age, he showed a passion for football, and it wasn't long before he began to make a name for himself on the field.
Fackrell attended Mesa High School, where he played as a linebacker and tight end. He quickly became one of the team's standout players, earning All-State honors in his senior year. Despite his success, Fackrell was not heavily recruited by college football programs, and he ultimately decided to attend Utah State University.
At Utah State, Fackrell continued to impress. He played as a linebacker and defensive end, and in his sophomore year, he led the team in sacks and tackles for loss. He was named the Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, and he was also a finalist for the Butkus Award, which is given to the nation's top linebacker.
Fackrell's success at Utah State caught the attention of NFL scouts, and he was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He quickly became a key player for the Packers, playing as a linebacker and contributing on special teams.
In 2018, Fackrell had a breakout season. He recorded 10.5 sacks, which was tied for the eighth-most in the NFL that year. He also had 42 tackles, two forced fumbles, and an interception. His performance earned him a spot on the NFL's All-Pro Second Team.
Off the field, Fackrell is known for his strong work ethic and his dedication to his family. He and his wife, Desirae, have three children together, and Fackrell has spoken about the importance of balancing his football career with his responsibilities as a husband and father.
As Fackrell continues to make a name for himself in the NFL, he remains focused on improving his game and helping his team succeed. With his talent and determination, there's no doubt that he has a bright future ahead of him.
