About Lisa Loring
Lisa Loring was a child star who rose to fame in the 1960s as Wednesday Addams in the hit TV series "The Addams Family." Born on February 16, 1958, in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands, Lisa's family moved to the United States when she was a young girl. She began her acting career at the age of six, appearing in commercials and TV shows before landing the role of Wednesday Addams at the age of nine.
Despite her success on the show, Lisa struggled with personal issues throughout her life. She battled drug addiction and was in and out of rehab several times. She also had a tumultuous personal life, with multiple marriages and divorces.
After "The Addams Family" ended in 1966, Lisa continued to act in TV shows and movies, but never achieved the same level of success. She also worked as a model and appeared in Playboy magazine in 1971.
In later years, Lisa became an advocate for addiction recovery and worked with several organizations to help others struggling with substance abuse. She also wrote a memoir, "Remembering Wednesday," which detailed her experiences as a child star and her struggles with addiction.
Sadly, Lisa passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 65. She is remembered as a talented actress and a brave advocate for addiction recovery.
