About Michael Fox
Michael Fox was a beloved American actor known for his memorable roles in classic films and television shows. Born on February 27, 1921, in Yonkers, New York, Fox began his acting career in the 1940s, appearing in small roles in films such as "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" and "The Day the Earth Stood Still."
However, it was his role as Detective Sergeant Kelsey on the hit television series "Perry Mason" that brought him widespread recognition. Fox appeared in over 80 episodes of the show, cementing his status as a talented character actor.
Throughout his career, Fox continued to work in both film and television, appearing in popular shows such as "The Twilight Zone" and "The Andy Griffith Show." He also had memorable roles in films such as "The Long, Hot Summer" and "The Hustler."
Despite his success, Fox was known for his humility and dedication to his craft. He once said, "I'm not a star, I'm an actor. Stars are people who live in Hollywood and have big swimming pools."
Fox passed away on June 1, 1996, at the age of 75. He left behind a legacy of memorable performances and a reputation as one of Hollywood's most talented character actors.
