About Shi Yan Ming
Shi Yan Ming is a true master of martial arts, born on July 13, 1964, in China. He is the founder of the USA Shaolin Temple, located in New York City, and has been practicing martial arts since the age of five.
Growing up in China during the Cultural Revolution, Shi Yan Ming was drawn to martial arts as a way to protect himself from bullies. He began his training at the Shaolin Temple in Henan Province, where he learned the traditional Shaolin Kung Fu techniques.
In 1992, Shi Yan Ming moved to the United States and founded the USA Shaolin Temple in New York City. He has since become a renowned martial artist, actor, and author. He has appeared in several films, including "Man of Tai Chi" and "The Grandmaster," and has written two books, "The Shaolin Workout" and "Instant Health: The Shaolin Qigong Workout For Longevity."
Shi Yan Ming's teachings focus on the mind-body connection and the importance of discipline and self-control. He believes that martial arts can be used as a tool for personal growth and spiritual development.
In addition to his martial arts practice, Shi Yan Ming is also a philanthropist. He has worked with several organizations to promote education and health in underserved communities.
Shi Yan Ming's dedication to martial arts and his commitment to helping others have made him a true inspiration to many. He continues to teach and spread the Shaolin philosophy to students around the world.
