About Sun Yumin
Sun Yumin was a Chinese actress who captivated audiences with her stunning performances on stage and screen. Born on December 31, 1940, in China, Sun Yumin began her acting career in the 1960s and quickly became one of the most sought-after actresses in the country.
Throughout her career, Sun Yumin starred in numerous films and television shows, earning critical acclaim for her performances. Her most notable roles include "The Red Detachment of Women" (1961), "The White-Haired Girl" (1964), and "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" (1983).
Sun Yumin's talent and beauty made her a beloved figure in China, and she was often referred to as the "Queen of Chinese Cinema." Her impact on Chinese culture was so significant that she was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 Golden Rooster Awards.
