Tabar\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n V\u00e1zquez Rosas born on 17 January 1940 in Montevideo. He is a citizen of Uruguay. Tabaré Vázquez was educated at Universidad de la República - Udelar. He died on 6 December 2020 in Montevideo from a lung cancer at age 80 years, 10 months. He is buried at Cementerio de La Teja. He lived at Montevideo.

He was a President of Uruguay (2005-2010, 2015-2020).

Tabaré Vázquez has had one spouse: María Auxiliadora Delgado.

Tabaré Vázquez has worked as a politician, physician, professor and oncologist. He has has won National Order of San Lorenzo, Order of Merit of the State of Qatar, Order of Omar Torrijos Herrera and Medal of Military Merit. He has participated in inauguration of Alberto Fernández.

Tabaré Vázquez has held the position of President of Uruguay, President pro tempore of the Union of South American Nations and Intendant of Montevideo.
