About Vhong Navarro
Vhong Navarro is a multi-talented Filipino actor, comedian, and singer born on January 4, 1977. He first gained fame as a member of the dance group Streetboys in the 1990s, before transitioning to acting and comedy.
Navarro's breakthrough role came in the hit TV series "Home Along Da Riles" in 1992, where he played the lovable sidekick to Dolphy's character. He went on to star in numerous TV shows and movies, showcasing his comedic timing and physical comedy skills.
Aside from acting, Navarro is also a talented singer and dancer. He has released several albums and singles, including the hit song "Pamela" in 2004. He has also won several awards for his dancing, including the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in 2013.
Despite his success, Navarro has faced his fair share of controversies. In 2014, he was involved in a highly publicized case where he was allegedly beaten and extorted by a group of men. The case garnered national attention and sparked a conversation about violence against celebrities in the Philippines.
Navarro has since bounced back from the incident and continues to be a beloved figure in Filipino entertainment. He currently hosts the popular TV show "It's Showtime" and is set to star in the upcoming movie "Mang Kepweng: Ang Lihim ng Bandanang Itim."
