About Vivica A. Fox
Vivica A. Fox has been a force in Hollywood for over three decades. Born in South Bend, Indiana in 1964, Fox began her career as a model before transitioning to acting in the late 1980s. She quickly made a name for herself with roles in hit films like "Independence Day," "Set It Off," and "Kill Bill: Vol. 1."
Fox's talent and charisma have made her a sought-after actress, but she's also made a name for herself as a producer. She's produced several films, including "Motives" and "Three Can Play That Game," and has also executive produced the Lifetime series "Vivica's Black Magic."
In addition to her work in film and television, Fox has also made a name for herself on the stage. She's appeared in several Broadway productions, including "Chicago" and "The Mountaintop."
Despite her success, Fox has faced challenges in Hollywood. In a 2018 interview with Rolling Stone, she spoke candidly about the industry's ageism and sexism, saying, "It's a tough business, especially for women of color. You have to be strong and resilient."
But Fox has never let those challenges hold her back. She continues to work tirelessly, and her hard work has paid off. In 2020, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As she approaches her 57th birthday, Fox shows no signs of slowing down. She's set to star in several upcoming films, including "Arkansas" and "The Wrong Cheerleader Coach."
Through it all, Fox remains a trailblazer and an inspiration to women in Hollywood and beyond. As she told Rolling Stone, "I'm proud of what I've accomplished, but I'm not done yet."
