Yevhen Marchuk born on 28 January 1941 in Dolynivka. He is a citizen of Soviet Union and Ukraine. Yevhen Marchuk was educated at Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Vladimir Vinnichenko. He obtained PhD in Law. He died on 5 August 2021 in Kiev from a 2019-nCoV acute respiratory disease at age 80 years, 6 months.
He was an Ukrainian politician.

Yevhen Marchuk has held the position of Prime Minister of Ukraine, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Defence, People's Deputy of Ukraine and Substitute of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
Marchuk died aged 80 on 5 August 2021. According to a report by the Security Service of Ukraine he died from acute pulmonary heart failure that was exacerbated by a COVID-19 infection.
